Credential Manager is a new feature in Windows 7. You can manage Windows credentials for various sign onto your computer, certificate-based credentials, etc. (for e-mail accounts, web accounts, etc). These are all stored by default in Windows Vault.

A week ago I found a problem with one user at a computer can not automatically connect to a printer or other users (as a local print server).

The problem is like this : Computer user to use Operating System Windows 7 Professional. Each will print to a printer server need to login to the server comp start up at first, once turned off the password is not stored and must be repeated again login to the server computer every computer user at start-up.

Solution :
  1. Add into the printer server login credential manager user's computer. Control Panel - Credential Manager - Add a Windows credential.

  2. Fill in the internet or network addresses : ip address or the number of server addresses.
  3. Username : username computer server
  4. Password : password server computer
  5. Then click OK

  6. Restart the computer user
If you want to be set to another computer, you just hold the flash backup vault to restore to another computer. Probably the best new features in the Credential Manager is the ability to backup and restore of Vault. Microsoft recommends that you to keep a back up on removable drives, such as flash drive, to make a backup if you experience a hardware failure.
