How To Print With Black Ink Only on Epson Inkjet Printers

On the Epson inkjet printers have individual ink, if one was not detected or ink runs out, then the printer can not be used for print. On the Epson Stylus printer has four ink : Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow, while the Epson Stylus Photo printer has six ink : Black, Cyan, Light Cyan, Magenta, Light Magenta and Yellow.

Although the Epson Stylus printer has a color ink, the printer can be used to print a file or document in black ink only. The trick is if you print a file or document properties then change it the option of printing the printer driver.

When you want to print a document, it will display the printer driver properties like this :

Then click advanced

Check the boxes for grayscale

In the other type printers have the option to select black ink only. Check the boxes for black ink only and then click Ok. Completed
